Abbi Custis doesn't color inside the lines. This emerging abstract artist uses bold color and texture on her canvases which celebrate her zest for life and are inspired by the everyday.
Her approach is unconventional. Abbi picks up a power tool just as often as a paintbrush and uses a variety of materials other than paint. The result is a visual image of fun, place, and casual sophistication..
Through her outside the box attitude, Abbi conveys the power of art to soothe, inspire, convene, heal, and be thought- provoking.
In addition to custom commissions, Her business includes a successful giftware, jewelry, paper ware, and fabric line. She has exhibited in solo and group shows in Washington, DC; New York City; and Bologna, Italy.
Abbi’s art installations are featured in offices, businesses, and spaces throughout the mid-Atlantic region. She is working to re-imagine the iconic Ocean City, Maryland Convention Center.
Among her more unique collaborations is, Art4Living Well, a program she developed with Yoga Therapist Kelli Anders. It enables participants to find the window to their souls through art and yoga.
