Jordan Crabill

When it comes to her artwork, like a true born Texan Jordan believes that bigger is better, more is more and you can never have too much glitter!
Jordan Crabill is a maximalist portrait painter from the heart of East Texas. She earned her bachelor of fine arts from the University of Texas at Tyler where she studied ceramics and large scale sculpture installation. After college, Jordan journeyed back to her first love in the arts, painting.
Her artwork embodies the Texas culture of big hair, big personality, cowboy boots and lots of rhinestones! Many of her works combine iconic celebrities and moments in history that fill our hearts with nostalgia. Perhaps it’s your Grandmother's favorite song that plays in your head while viewing her latest Elvis painting. Or your childhood memories of playing dress up in your Mother’s high heels while playing an old Dolly record. Those memories! The laughter! The fun! The absolute ridiculousness of it all is what Jordan’s artwork revels in!
Jordan recently purchased a historical building in downtown Palestine, Texas that will soon be the home of Glitterboxx Studio & Fine Art Gallery where she will welcome guests and collectors while she paints live each day! She enjoys participating in the local Dogwood Arts Council, teaching Art elective a local private school and creating a colorful home life with her husband, John and son, Creed.
