Since she was a child, Jana Young has been attracted to the world of creativity and design. From sketching and doodling to styling her daily wardrobe, she graduated from the University of Georgia and with her BFA in fabric design in 2015. Throughout her school and professional experience, Jana has maintained a very organic and abstract aesthetic. Inspired by nature, fashion, texture, design and interiors, she is not afraid of seeking new boundaries by experimenting with new materials and surfaces, but loves the fluidity of inks and water down acrylics.
Design has played a major role in each one of Jans’s professional experiences. Interning for notable designers and artists, such as Carolina Herrera, Annie Griffin and Susan Hable she has not only learned about many facets of the industry, but has also gained the business knowledge necessary to now own her own business Jana Ink & Paper. While continuing to grow her business, she also works as the style associate for style design in Atlanta. With the abundance of design experience, she understands the breadth of the creative industry and strives to grow within this space.
