About Julie Hansen

Having lived bayside, in Melbourne, Australia, Julie has a deep connection and appreciation for the beach.

Her and her family made many memories there. A professional artist from the Midwest, she holds a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Missouri- Columbia. Her work reaches collectors nationally and internationally, with works in Singapore, Canada, Denmark and Great Britain. Recent travels to beaches near and far, most notably, Greece, Denmark, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, inspire her coastal series, a body of work that refreshes the soul and provides joy and peace for the viewer.

Each piece is beautifully made by hand with the finest pastels on archival paper.
