"While walking the shores of Lake Michigan I found my first piece of beachglass, worn, smooth, and marked by time. I held it to the light and saw that every scratch recorded a history, like the lines etched in a person’s face. What began as quiet curiosity became a daily ritual, collecting fragments of discarded objects reshaped by the lake into luminous relics.
This series, Second Light, is my way of honoring that transformation, the idea that something overlooked can become something beautiful. Each stack is a meditation on balance, resilience, and the light we carry after being weathered by time."
