Meet Sarah Brannon of Sarah Brannon Interiors

Native Texan, Sarah Brannon, caught our eye on Instagram with her gorgeous use of color, art and textiles in her interiors. Plus we have had the pleasure of working with Sarah and placing some beautiful art in her designs!

Having worked for well-known designers in Dallas for years, she took the leap and started her own company, Sarah Brannon Interiors, in 2018 when she and her family moved to Midland, Texas. We are so glad she did and are looking forward to seeing more of her beautiful work online!

Designer Spotlight: Ashley Hanley Featured in House Beautiful
When interior designer Ashley Hanley called her friend and regular collaborator, Liza Pruitt, to enlist her help in placing art in a project she was working on, she had a vision but needed help sourcing local art that would fit the client’s budget. The house was a 1939 Colonial Revival in Richmond, Virginia, so the overall aesthetic leaned traditional. With that said, the client had a bubbly personality and a fondness for color, so Ashley wanted original art that wasn’t too dark or stuffy. The client also frequently entertained guests from out of town and was looking to create a peaceful, relaxing ambiance - “almost like a boutique hotel.”   Continue reading

Growing up as a member of a creative family in Annapolis, MD, Julie Deckman has been dabbling in art her entire life. After graduating from the College of Charleston and deciding that the 9-to-5 life was not for her, she made the leap to full-time artist. Julia’s work vary in subject matter and medium, but bright, vivid colors are a constant. She recently opened the Julia Deckman Studio in her hometown of Charleston, SC, where she exhibits her art and invites her community to come along for the ride through workshops, exhibitions, trunk shows and more!
